This paper discusses the main factors of security problems in Iraq. The study highlights that there is a huge quantity of munitions stored at numerous dumps across the country. These munitions are available to support the developing guerrilla war. The report also states that a long-term insurgency is a prospect and that the country is in the early stages of a protracted war.
