This paper discusses the role of insurgency in the Iraq war. The study provides an overview of the challenges US and Iraqi forces face in a post-conflict reconstruction. The author suggests that Pakistan is projected into the forefront of the war against al-Qaida, with all the dangers and possible consequences that can be involved.
