This paper criticizes the theory of Fourth Generation War (4GW) and the conclusions drawn from of it. The author analyses the theory of 4GW and compares it to the operations of al-Qaida and other groups. The paper concludes that the theory of 4GW doesn't apply to the modern war on terror.
