This paper examines the impact of EU induced regionalization on minority and majority nationalism. It looks at the links between European economic integration and ethnic minority mobilization, and tries to identify their effect on territorially concentrated ethnic minorities. The study presents case studies focused on ethnic minorities inhabiting regions near or across border areas in EU member-states and accession countries.
