This paper explores the image of Greece held by the society of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. It aims to determine the causal links and the effects of events on the individual, institutional and societal levels. The study is based on the examination of two major factors: the media and its attitude toward Greece, and the education system (with a focus on the history textbooks used in FYROM’s primary schools).
