Publication

This paper aims to identify characteristic examples of countries of major political standing, such as Russia and Ukraine, together with the Baltic States in the context of 1997 NATO summit. It provides a brief overview of the vast subjects of European security and considers the need of the Western European Union to adapt to the new political and security environment in the continent and within the Euro-Atlantic community.
