This paper examines Euro-Mediterranean political relations in the context of security-building measures. The study explores the complexity of the socio- economic and political challenges facing Mediterranean countries and assesses a region-wide cooperative framework between Europe and the Mediterranean including the interaction between international organizations such as: OSCE, EU, WEU and NATO.
