This paper examines the micro-level effects of privatization in Southeast Europe, focusing on the experiences of Bosnia Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia. The research analyzes the relationship between different privatization methods and policy outcomes in medium-scale industrial enterprises. It also considers the effect of the years of conflict and the break-up of the SFRY on the enterprises surveyed.
