This paper highlights the key economic developments and indicators which show India's potential with respect to its investment climate, skilled work force and large market. The authors also discuss the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) and its provisions. At the same time, they point to key considerations for doing business and investing in India. Finally, they touch on the challenges of making economic inroads into India.
