This volume addresses the issue of post-conflict rehabilitation. It draws on the experiences from the Western Balkans and discusses strategic consequences for trans-Atlantic cooperation. The book addresses conceptual and terminology issues as well as the influence of the international system. A further part focuses on the experience from the Western Balkans, which outlines economic and security issues, the role of the EU and a number of cases from the former Yugoslavia. Finally, the book formulates conclusions on the importance of Euro-Atlantic solidarity in the field of post-conflict rehabilitation.
