This report summarizes the discussions from the experts seminar on the security threats and challenges that Europe might be facing in 2025. The experts examine questions of European internal and global security in the coming decades. They identify a number of factors influencing future capability needs, including continued EU geographical proximity to sources of instability, new military and technological challenges, greater EU member state cooperation, global economic, demographic and political change, civil-military cooperation and a further shift toward crisis prevention and crisis management.
