This paper presents a brief primer on the key security issues that may emerge from the proliferation of nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) weapons and missiles as a means of delivery. It examines the NBC threat and the potential consequences for US forces. The paper details the threat of NBC terrorism for the US from a global perspective and details possible countermeasures.
