This document provides an overview of key areas of discussion during the Preparatory Committee Meeting for the first formal Review Conference (RevCon) of the UN Program of Action on small arms control. The aim of this meeting was to reach agreement on substantive recommendations and a program of work for the RevCon. During the meeting themes like priorities and perspectives, thematic debates, norms, regulations and administrative procedures, excessive accumulation, misuse and uncontrolled spread, international cooperation and assistance, communication and the follow-up as well as reporting mechanisms were tackled.
