This briefing examines the possibilities for democratization and political reform in Jordan. It emphasizes the importance of establishing a stronger relationship and trust between the state and its citizens. The briefing argues that to ensure national stability, the Egyptian political system should open up and establish a democratization agenda that includes full respect of human rights, an accountable government, the strengthening of democratic institutions and the construction of a civil society.
