This briefing examines the European perspective of former Yugoslavia in the light of the upcoming EU-Balkan summit. It states that the status issue of Kosovo and the relationship of Montenegro toward Serbia have to be solved in order to set all three entities on the path of EU integration. The briefing also outlines the stabilization and association process of the Western Balkans countries and the EU perspectives of Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
