This paper examines key factors that are transforming geopolitics in South Asia. More specifically, the author focuses on 1) how the foreign policy priorities of India and Pakistan are changing, and leading both countries to reinterpret their relations with each other; and 2) the potential political and economic implications for South Asia of China's string of infrastructure projects in the region, particularly the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
