This publication contains a set of policy briefs on ways to enhance the viability of the non-proliferation regime. Some address issues which have been considered throughout the history of nuclear arms control, but remain unresolved, such as the right to withdraw from arms control treaties. Others discuss later initiatives, including prospects for a nuclear weapons free zone in the Middle East.
