This paper describes the impact of the war on terror on the Solomon Islands. The author details how in 2003 Australia intervened in the islands and led a mission to restore law and order. The paper states that although the mission was a short-term success, it left open questions about the long-term ability to achieve either well-being for Solomon Islands or collective security for the region.
