This paper discusses the problem of hazardous waste threatening millions of people in Asia. The author explains that more and more of such waste is being produced and released into the environment and has triggered severe health problems for many. According to this paper, this problem has been exacerbated by inadequate enforcement of environmental and waste regulations in Asia. The author concludes that unless serious action is taken, the costs to human health and the environment will continue to escalate.
