This issue discusses the Iraq Study Group Report, in particular, the role of diplomacy in the Iraq war, the regional power balance between Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran as well as the position of Israel on the Iraq Study Group Report. The featured articles address Iraq’s future and the strategic insecurity after Saddam Hussein. This issue also contains a contribution on cultural understanding as a tool for countering irregular threats and as a force for peace.
