This publication reflects on why the UK Government has failed to settle a withdrawal deal with the EU, and on the implications this has for the country. The text’s author contends that the Brexit referendum has effectively paralyzed the country as the discord over how to interpret its results has led to a dysfunctional Parliament with little dialogue and a lack of trust both between and within political parties.
