This book explores in detail Spanish direct investment in Latin America. After an overview over the most important Spanish players, the author examines their role in different countries. For each country he analyzes the economic and political background, the domestic economic policy and the geography of the country with its natural resources. He further sheds light on domestic communication, energy and the banking sector.
