This paper examines different security related issues in Europe, Iran, Iraq and South Asia. It draws attention to suicide terrorism in Europe with the example of the 7 July 2005 bombings in London. The authors further discuss the transition in Iran and Iraq and the reasons behind India's and Pakistan's interest in joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
