Publication

This publication summarizes the findings of the conference entitled "Slaughter of the Innocents: Understanding Political Killing" held in March 1998 at Stanford University. Focusing on mobilization for large-scale killing and genocide, this publication covers three main areas of investigation: the historical sociology of mobilization for large-scale killing, the phenomenology of genocide and the role of memory in such mobilization.
