This paper summarizes a workshop on nuclear weapons and stability in South Asia. Key insights include the need for the US to ensure that India and Pakistan become responsible nuclear powers and emphasize cooperative measures, to secure weapons and material from terrorist theft, and to stop the further spread of nuclear weapons.
