This paper discusses Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA). The author argues that there are a range of studies that model the impact of EPAs and tend to show that the liberalization of trade in goods is broadly positive. Yet, he also states that those modeling results need to be interpreted with caution. The paper concludes that despite the limitations of the models, the results provide information on the basis of which EPA negotiations could progress.
