This paper outlines the various ways in which food and nutritional security are essential in the HIV/AIDS response. The author argues that limited progress has been made in integrating nutrition interventions into HIV/AIDS programs and policies. He also argues that the lack of action is due to limited inter-sectoral collaboration. The paper concludes by giving recommendations on the issue.
