Nov 2003

This publication examines the political relations between China and the US. The author critically analyzes the realist's view of the two major powers and concludes that, despite the Bush administration's assertive security strategy and foreign policy, it seems highly unlikely that the administration will pursue a more confrontational approach to China, much less a military campaign to force a "regime change" in Beijing.
