This monthly briefing evaluates the report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on climate change from a security perspective. The author further examines developments in North Africa, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Thailand, as well as some evidence of an al-Qaeda re-grouping in western Pakistan.
