This research paper focuses on the conflict in Darfur and looks at the international response to the humanitarian crisis. The author details how the situation in the western Darfur region of Sudan has been labeled the worst humanitarian crisis in the world and examines how the conflict between rebel forces on the one side, the Sudanese government and the government-backed Janjaweed militia on the other, has left between 10'000 and 30'000 people dead.
