Publication

This paper was written to serve as an introductory resource on the Indian economy for UK Members of Parliament and their staff. The paper is structured into three parts. While the first provides key demographic facts and figures about India, the second reviews India’s internal economy including the main industry sectors. The third part examines at the external economy, summarizes the aid India receives and analyzes the outlook for India’s economic development.
