This brief looks at the positioning of main Danish actors on prominent EU debates. During the first half of 2007, EU issues such as the Berlin Declaration, the future of the Constitutional Treaty and the possibility of a new EU referendum were widely covered in the Danish media. Alongside these issues, this publication addresses the debates on the future of the four Danish opt-outs, the EU’s role in environmental issues and the Danish "flexicurity" model.
