Publication

This paper looks at developments in Kosovo between July and October 1998 and details the reaction of the international community. It then analyzes the peace agreement reached on 12 October 1998 and considers the prospects for a successful resolution of the crisis. The author examines both the diplomatic and military options available to the international community in trying to resolve the troublesome situation in the region.
