This paper discusses the financial consequences of EU enlargement and the implications for EU regional policy as well as the Common Agricultural Policy. The authors also discuss the political and institutional aspects of EU enlargement and look at the possible impact on the UK. Furthermore, the paper asks how to finance the costs of accession.
