This paper examines how Canada and specifically its Department of National Defence (DND) have responded to changes in the military technological environment, known as Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA). It explores what RMA is and where it may be going, reviews the DND's response to it and looks at the challenges related to the changes in information technology and military affairs. Subsequently, it illustrates how the UK, Australia and Israel adapt to these developments. The author argues that the DND has been slow to explore RMA and has failed to identify a comprehensive strategy regarding it.
