This paper first examines the migratory patterns of innovators, researchers, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs and compares Canadian trends to those found in the top 15 destination and origin countries. The text then discusses 1) the consequences of innovator migration, and 2) what governments should do to retain talented people.
