This paper introduces the concept of the power of anticipation and explains its historical roots and its relevance, commenting on the case of Argentina. The author states that there is an essential need to "de-privatize the world-to-come," making sure that thinking ahead is not just a luxury for the rich and educated, but the right to anticipate the future is a human right and that therefore it is more important for the poor to be able to exercise that right.
