This publication examines the development of relations between ASEAN and China and looks at the implications for the US and potential security challenges. The paper identifies an improvement in ASEAN-China relations and predicts few related security challenges to the US. Furthermore, the author discusses some sources of friction such as Taiwan, Burma and the South China Sea dispute.
