This monograph provides a set of recommendations to the US, NATO allies and EU institutions for developing a more consequential Eastern dimension. It examines the Eastern European perspectives on the enlargement of EU and NATO, assesses the impact of NATO and EU policies and comments on Russia's course toward the region. The author looks at Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia and argues that without a realistic prospect for NATO and EU accession, the countries will become sources of instability and objects of Russian ambitions.
