This JEMIE issue marks the journal’s 15th anniversary and contains a selection of popular articles featured in past issues. While adhering to the overall theme of minority rights within the context of EU enlargement, the articles specifically focus on 1) western models of multiculturalism and the factors which may inhibit their transferability to Eastern Europe, and 2) the impact of enlargement on minority protection in the following countries—Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
