This paper focuses on the radical groups of Hamas and Hizbollah. The author seeks to alert US policymakers and military leaders to the larger potential danger posed by the groups. At the same time, the study contends that there has been a corresponding rise of religious radicalism in Israel. The paper states that it will be difficult to avoid a decisive confrontation between the radical forces on both sides.
