Publication

This paper analyzes reasons for the violent and anarchic situation in Colombia. The author discusses alternatives to intervention and notes the complexity of the human rights challenge. The author also suggests an updated strategy for improving human security, government accountability, democratic reform and peace prospects. The author concludes that there is a window of opportunity for the US to support Colombia in a revised way in its war against the anarchic trinity.
