This report summarizes the proceedings of an October 2007 conference on the increase in global energy demands and declining global energy supplies. Participants at the conference discussed the interconnection of the energy economy, climate change and security, identified areas where policy initiatives and market-oriented solutions could be steps forward, and charted out a longer list of international energy issues.
