This publication includes a collection of articles on campaigns that, simply put, seek to influence the insights that shape how individuals perceive and interact with the world around them. More specifically, it focuses on such ‘cognitive campaigns’ and the challenges they raise in the era of modern communications. The issues addressed by the articles include 1) the challenges posed by influence operations to liberal democracies; 2) the characteristics of influence operations in the cyber domain; 3) Russia and Iran’s information warfare, 4) the threat posed by cognitive campaigns to Israel, and more.
