Publication

This publication examines the Paris Agreement tasks that still need to be implemented. The basic problem is that COP22’s unexpectedly fast ratification has accelerated the need for a climate change rulebook that accounts for 1) absent scientific data; 2) existing commitments and gaps; 3) economic costs and opportunities; 4) advances in renewable energy; 5) unforeseen political events; 6) citizen views on climate change; and 7) other climate agreements that have emerged since the adoption of the Paris Agreement.
