This paper highlights how Chinese analysts view Europe’s present and future trajectory, and the potential impact Brexit could have on their country. Ultimately, the analyst’s break down into three camps – those who believe Brexit will negatively impact global financial markets and the Chinese economy; those who think China may benefit from the current divisions in Europe and the EU; and those who call on Beijing to assess things further and strengthen its cooperation with the EU and UK.
