This examines how dual-use technologies can contribute to EU efforts in civilian conflict prevention and peacebuilding. More specifically, the authors carry out this task by analyzing selected dual-use technologies owned by EU member states - namely satellites and remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) - as well as European cooperation related to these systems.
