This paper presents a theoretical, post-colonial feminist alternative to the neo-liberal self and other patterns of social relations. The author describes how the "borderlands" approach also exemplifies a multiple world ontology to world politics and can be used to study such cases as the Asian financial crisis from 1997 to 1998, US corporate corruption from 2001 to 2002 and the 11 September 2001 Commission Report from 2004.
