This report discusses global sectoral industry approaches to climate change. The authors address both opportunities and challenges of such approaches. First, the authors create a typology of sectoral approaches based on an examination of ongoing initiatives. They then assess the challenges that arise from such approaches. Finally, the report makes recommendations in order to accelerate the development of global sectoral industry approaches to climate change.
