This brief looks at the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the Asia Pacific and calls for a doubling of the global funding for the response to the pandemic. The author also proposes strategic reform within the international community and underlines the role Australia could play in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the regions of South Pacific and Melanesia.
